Humber Barges barge "Fusedale H" is a regular
on the Besthorpe to Whitwood gravel run, in September 2008 it was a change of
cargo for the barge when it ran a trial load of Gypsum from the Trent up to
Kellingley, if the trial is deemed successful more loads by barge could follow.
My thanks to Humber Barges Ltd for allowing me to
ride on board "Fusedale H" for part of the journey up the Aire & Calder
Navigation.
